Shady corners
and woodland sites offer a welcome relief on hot summer days. A variety of plants
thrive in shade – some of them prefer moist soil whereas others prefer drier conditions.
Many native trees, shrubs, ground covers, and flowering herbaceous plants thrive
even in deep shade. Varying color and texture of the plants will provide
depth in the shade garden. |
